Sizing: Measure the circumference of the widest part of your hand, not including your thumb, and reference the following table:

While not near as cold as say, the backwoods of the Alaskan badlands… the winters up on the Johannesburg high veld can be rather nippy.
Early morning starts with added icy wind chill factor, certainly tests your mental fortitude let alone your physical cycling prowess.
Until very recently my hands have played host to the throwback finger-less cycling gloves of the glorious eighties.
However with the temp dropping faster than the base on the local techno dance floor I thought it best to invest in the full finger version.
Being a man of simple needs, all I hoped for was individual pockets of fabric for my ten digits. The new KH full finger gloves not only fulfilled that need,
they surpassed any expectation I had. They are light weight and rugged at the same time. Still giving you the ability to answer a call or operate an iPod.
They boast added support over the palm area for the dreaded face plant (unless you have the reflexes of a ninja..hence the padding on the palms)
They also protect the wrists from any severe jolts you might incur from an unplanned dismount causing the wrist to face 180 degrees in the wrong direction.
This is never pleasant, more so at 4 am on a cold winters morning. The added bonus of the ample wrist support is an uncanny resemblance to the gloves worn by many a super hero.
I am not ashamed to say I wandered around the house and completed many household chores feeling very…super heroey.
